Day Trading System Versus Day Trader
Can I make you become an effective, disciplined and consistent day trader? I must admit with full honesty, no I cannot. I can only teach you how to work with my HMA-Bollinger Bands Day Trading System.
I didn’t realize it until a few days ago that teaching a trading system and teaching a person how to become an effective, disciplined and consistent trader are altogether two different aspects. My very close friend and my personal councillor, also my stark critic has been trying hard to make me understand this for a long time; only I was too adamant and obstinate to accept this fact.
Its but natural for a day trader to start searching for a magical day trading system especially when he/she faces series of losses. Only they fail to recognise that its not just the trading system that would solve their problem. Since the time I had started discussing my daily trading activities and about my HMA-Bollinger Bands Day Trading System in my blog, to my greatest surprise many traders approached me to learn my system. As it goes with my nature, I have been trying in vain to teach most of them not only my day trading system but also my method of day trading on the whole. Did any one trader follow my trading method? Sadly no. There were all in a hurry to get back to trading the very next day with a new trading system and start recovering their losses, only to face new losses.
Be it any trading system, I apply a simple 1+3 weeks trading formula. The 1st week I observe my charts with my trading system. From 2nd week onwards, for the next 3 weeks I start trading with very small quantities in my live account. If I happen to choose a new subject, I spend at least 2 weeks studying about it before even pressing my buy/sell keys.
Regretfully, I have not so far come across a single trader who was willing to give this formula a try. All they wanted was a trading system that they found to be so attractive and magical. They didn’t want to read what I had written about the system in my blog and how I use, nor they were willing to spend time studying the nuances of the system nor they were interested in watching the live sessions videos nor they were willing to accept that laying the foundation is utmost important and paramount to anything else.
